NikhilClayton - React-ar 3: I Would Die for Pavi
About This Title
NOW we see what this show is really going to look like. I think it's important to remember that Aang doesn't even learn the Airbenders are dead until this episode of his series. It makes sense that the world is just now coming into focus and - personally - I like what I'm seeing.
Instead of big reveals/lore drops, this ep focused on fleshing out the most important dynamic of the show. I really appreciate that Pavi and Nisha didn't immediately start acting like they'd been bffs for life. They are still getting to know each other and their natural conflict is allowed to flourish.
That said, we do DESPERATELY need them to actually go on an adventure. I think a lot of the stillness that people are feeling would be helped if the characters themselves were moving, not just reacting. Here's hoping they get to drive the plot from here on out.
