About This Title
Well well well, what do we have here, an Arknights patch with little to no mods breaking?? What kind of sorcery is this?
I have noticed some delayed texture pop in, but that's likely just RabbitFX needing a patch update. After all things are current, if I encounter persistent issues, I will address them.
Though mods don't seem to be breaking, I've heard other's mods doing so. Not sure why. I only have enough mental bandwidth to focus on my own.
One final trouble I encountered relates to the XXMI launcher. Seemingly, because of some updates to Endfield's official launcher, it has caused issues with the typical XXMI launch process. Maybe as an intentional way of bypassing 3d party launchers? But I doubt it.
Anyway, if you encounter a pop up window like this:
make the following change in EFMI's settings:
Change to 'Manual' launch, with 60 or 120 wait timeout, preferably. Go back out, 'Start' XXMI, give it a few seconds, and then launch the game through the official launcher with DirectX 11 checked off.
It should start the game with XXMI running successfully. If you continue to encounter issues, reach out to me for help.
After all the troubleshooting and working out issues, I've finally been able to get Si into the game. I have a good chuck of her finished, but she still needs work. I might be able to get a version of her out to you sometime today, but consider tomorrow a possibility. There's a lot I wasn't able to do or test until she was out and could render her in-game. But all is working now!
She kinda has little twig legs, like Mifu and others. That's just China and their beauty standards for you If you like that body type, you're all set. If you prefer something a bit more endowed, we'll have that too, just give me the needed time to create it.
I'll get back to work, then. See ya!
