About This Title
This week drawing challenge we have this beautiful photo of a red squirrel in the forest. I thought it was about time we had a go capturing some forest wildlife. I love the colour contrast between the green moss and a red squirrel, and there’s so many beautiful textures to explore in this piece. I would say, do feel free to simplify this piece and focus on capturing atmosphere, rather than feeling like you need to capture every single tweak in the background.
The deadline for this challenge next Friday. Please share your final artwork on the Share Your Work Patreon chat. I'd also love it if you'd share on Instagram, either on your stories or the grid. Tag me @emmablockillustration and use the hashtag #ebsketchbookclub so I can see it and share it. Happy drawing!
