I would like to reiterate, though: on the whole, just because my characters say something doesn’t mean I 100% agree with their opinion. Certainly not with the level of unshakable conviction they typically display. It’s an understandable assumption that I would, since many other creators use their creations as unadulterated mouthpieces. And I’m not necessarily knocking that approach. It’s just not a methodology that interests me.
I guess this particular comic is somewhat of an exception. I guess that’s why I called it out explicitly. I’m pretty sure this one isn’t even canon. But for all canon appearances of my characters, I can see where they’re coming from, and I mightagree, but it’s not a guarantee.
But this character of me is 100% accurate. If you pull a sheet off me, I will start hissing right away.
