About This Title
So, I’m hesitant to even mention this, because I’m well aware that it’s probably barely noticeable. But I actually did a little experiment art-wise with this one. It’s an experiment I like to call “getting to sleep only a little after it starts to become light out despite the fact that I didn’t get this one written until far later in the day than I intended”.
Basically, instead of doing a rough layout, then a tight sketch and then even tighter vector inks, I just went ahead and pasted my sketch onto the inks layer. I know many would encourage me to just blow off my extra refinement inking step every time and try to experience that “free time” I keep hearing about.
To them I will simply quote Annie Edison from a scene in “Community” which I find very relatable:
Oh sure! I’ll just blow it off! I’ll just blow everything off. Heck, I guess I’ll just blow off walking. And now I’ll just blow off standing!
(Collapses on the floor)
I’m just blowing eeeeverything off! Maybe I’ll blow off talkin’ language.
Jeff: Okay.
Annie: Blee blee blah blah bluh bluh bluh bluuuh!
