That’s one Bonktober comic done! Thirty more to go! Man, I gotta say, I’d give just about anything to see those writers’ notes at Warner Bros working out the internal logic that governed the universe rules for that Space Jam movie. I’d be hard-pressed to call that flick a “good” movie, but the layer after layer of new concepts manufactured out of thin air certainly were complicated! And to their credit, I accepted each one as it was presented at face value and followed the whole plot.
Following anything remotely consistent in terms of rules or structure regarding the actual basketball game is another story. But I have to imagine they were pretty exhausted after settling on how and why Looney Tunes World resides deep under the mantle of planet Earth. I’m not going to say I’ll give them a pass, but I do understand.
