Do you notice anything about some of the backgrounds this time around? I didn't feel like spending hours drawing Val's messy room from multiple angles, so instead of spent even MORE hours modeling it in Blender!
It's modeled based on this image:
Cool, right? But check this out. Did you know that the PANELS THEMSELVES...
are literally also in Blender?? The camera (that black wireframe in the center leftish) is the parent entity of the image, so when I turn or move it, the image turns or moves too. It's like the image is on a stick on front of it, and I can just position it for whatever background I want.
There were some saturation issues with the exports, so I did still use the 2D images in Clip Studio, but this lined them up perfectly. Learning!
