About This Title
New bonus miniseries goooo! I've got fourteen pages done, and I estimate this story will run about eighteen pages total. Expect a new post every Tuesday until we get there.
This page was my first shot at the "American cartoon" style. I say that but I confess it's been easy for me to stray into more of an anime look as I've gone along. But I did try to put thought into what the eye shape of each character would be, and stay consistent with it. The characters have bigger heads and smaller feet. But I couldn't find it in myself to make the breasts look cartoony so they're all same as usual. XD
Typically, I avoid trying to make my characters sound "young" in how they speak. I instead opt to try and make them sound a bit more timeless for fear of coming off a bit too "hello, fellow kids" in my writing if you get me. BUT I do watch a lot of Youtube. So I'm trying to make Kristina sound like a Youtuber when she's on camera.
Lastly, this is Marley's big break! In early drafts, I had Kayden as a member of the group. But I decided I REALLY wanted Casey and Elianna. And Elianna would be too busy protecting Kayden if he was present for her to have anything else going on.
And that's all for now! Hope you guys like the experimental style. I'm looking forward to sharing these every Tuesday for a couple months.
