She was always the one who stayed close without ever being called. Calling herself a mother, fussing over the Master at every turn.
The Master searched every place that came to mind. The Chaldea staff did everything they could.
Still, no one knew where she had gone.
So the Master hired a private detective to find her.

Striped light fell through the blinds onto the detective's desk.
Without a word, the detective slid a brown envelope across it. A single typed label on the front.
EVIDENCE FILE: GUTTER SLUTS
SUBJECT: MINAMOTO NO RAIKOU
LOCATION: BACK ALLEY
Out came photographs. Many of them.
The first was a still from a security camera. A convenience store, late at night. 2026/10/29, 23:41.
A woman in a beige trench coat is walking in through the door.
Long purple hair. There was no mistaking her.

だからマスターは、私立探偵に捜索を頼んだ。

探偵は何も言わずに、茶封筒を机の上に差し出した。表には、ラベルが一枚。

LOCATION: BACK ALLEY
中から出てきたのは、何枚もの写真だった。
一枚目は、防犯カメラの映像だった。深夜のコンビニ。2026/10/29、23時41分。
ベージュのトレンチコートの女が、ドアを開けて入ってくる。
長い紫の髪。見間違えるはずがなかった。
