BROTHERS! Welcome to a VERY SPOOKY edition of FLASHGITZ FRIDAY! Halloween may be tomorrow, but it looks like you lucky little rascals are getting your treats today! And by treats, I mean something even better than candy: PRODUCTION UPDATES!!
But before we get to the updates, we need to get into the holiday spirit! And what better way than to show off some of the SPACE KING JACK-O-LANTERNS that have been made!
Space King fans are finally carving more into pumpkins than just weenie-sized holes.
What a sight! Our very own militia scattered all around the world carving pumpkins in Space King’s honor! These pumpkins are sick and it brings us sewer mutants over here at Flashgitz a lot of joy seeing them come across our timelines. To those of you who’ve carved and posted your Psych-o-Lanterns (patent pending), thank you for making us a part of your holiday! And if you didn’t, you need to make up for it next year.
Now let’s get onto… SPACE. KING. 6!!!!!
I have an earth-shattering announcement regarding episode 6, so you should probably sit down for this one… You ready? Here goes…
ANIMATION IS DONE!!
You read that right! As of this week, animation for Space King episode 6 is complete! We’ve put in a few eternities of man-hours into this episode, but we’re finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel! All that’s left is compositing, special effects, sound, souls of the unborn, and music! We still have a bit of work to do, so hang tight as we get through making this the best episode of Space King yet!

The most fun you can have when gas is $5 space bucks a gallon.
Hearing your friend screaming after taking the goth baddie to his bedroom.
Someone should put an out-of-order sign on this thing.
“Mom said it’s my turn on the Xbox.”
Legend says that if you break the boy in half, the one holding the bigger half gets a wish!
Hot girls hit curbs
The last thing your passenger side mirror sees.
Finished backgrounds can look nonsensical out of context. Take this empty void with a pile of bones for example…
This shot is set up so the background will go back into the distance, so only a portion of the background will be seen. Everything inside the red frame is what makes the final cut! See, you do learn something from Flashgitz Fridays <3
As you can see, we’ve made huge strides in completing this episode! We’re VERY excited for you to see what we’ve been up to, but you’re gonna have to wait a little bit longer! In the meantime, try and keep your idle hands occupied.. Maybe with some TOM AND DON?
Turn out the lights and get your snackies because this Halloween on Tom and Don, we’re talking about a HORROR MOVIE! One of the earliest unofficial “Warhammer 40k” movies, Event Horizon! It’s been said that this “cult classic” was secretly meant to be a prequel to Warhammer 40k. But is it true? And does it hold up to such classics as Small Soldiers? Check it out tomorrow and see!

Thanks to you, not only do we have the opportunity to give you guys a sick cartoon, but we get to make each episode subsequently better than the last! We COULD just be pocketing the money and feeding this shit into AI, but you all deserve better. You deserve REAL HUMAN SUFFERING put into your cartoons. So just think about how many animators are suffering because of you! Pretty great, isn’t it?
