About This Title
Kim, standing in an empty room: This one might be a short one folks! There were only a small handful of new panels while the writers – (cough) I mean Rose and Dirk – really carried this update. Now let’s get to the panels!
Chumi: I’m here too (didn’t do art for this update).
Kim: Our lovely Floral as per usual laid down the groundwork for the panels with her rough sketches, and I went in to polish them up.
Panel 1118 rough by Logan “Floralmarsupial” M.
Panel 1118 sketch and final by Kim Quach
Kim: Fun fact, did you know that apparently this is my first time ever getting to draw Ult!Dirk out of the entire run of this comic LOL. I somehow managed to narrowly avoid having to draw him every time… Funny! I hope I was able to do him justice for all y’all Dirk fans.
Another funner fact, I was able to find a brush that creates jpeg artefacts while I draw for Dirk’s tattoo and it’s like Kind Of Awesome. I think the crunchiness is a critical part of its design.
Haven: Welcome to the Dirk club.
Chumi: He looks awesome!!
Panel 1119 rough by Logan “Floralmarsupial” M.

Kim: You go to a bar and see these two lookin’ at u like this wyd.
By the way, I actually drew these as fullbodies! Even though I know they’d get eventually cut off... It’s just easier for me to understand the poses that way.
Kim: Now you can properly see Rose’s funny little princess stool she was sitting on (at request of Floral). Don’t mind the fact Dirk didn’t get drawn all the way. This ain’t about him.
Panel 1120 rough by Logan “Floralmarsupial” M.

Kim: And the last but not least panel of this update! Kind of a small thing, but I always love utilizing a bit of sketchiness to imply motion (and emotion). And can I just give ourselves a pat on the back again how much I love Rosebot’s new outfit? It just came just so (chef’s kiss) AND fun to draw.
ALSO, this panel also has a little bit of extra art just cut off in case anyone was curious… It would be a waste to not share it considering the work I already put into it! (idk why I do this to myself.)
Chumi: The people demand more Kimbo art!!
Kim: Actually, speaking of some hidden art, there’s a lot of sketches I made for this update as practice (and half of them actually became scaled down to be used for the panels). So here they are for your perusal!
Sketches by Kim Quach
Haven: I love when Kim draws them. So much.
Kim: There’s a lot of Dirk sketches since this was my first update drawing him so I was trying to warm-up to drawing him LOL.
Anyway, that’s all I got to share for this update! Apologies for how short this one was, but until next time my friends…!
