About This Title
Hi guys,
How is everybody doing? I hope you all had an amazing last week.
For us, last week was a bit of a mess. It started really strong with the renders, but on Wednesday evening, while working on the scenes for one event, I realized I had overcomplicated the main story and created a plot hole. It would have been harder to maintain the story or make it make sense later, so leaving it as it was wasn’t an option.
I’m trying not to give away too many spoilers, but basically I had ended up dramatizing everything, and the story took a darker path that doesn’t suit the game. So on Thursday and Friday I reworked some parts of the story to make it more enjoyable and less weird.
Because of that, the MC, Tris and Charlotte will no longer go to a cabin in the forest, but to the country house instead. The plans I had for the cabin still work, so I don’t have to rewrite them, just adjust them slightly. All good on that front. I still have one more event to fix, and later today or tomorrow I’ll get back to rendering.
I’m sorry for the detour, but sometimes it’s better to go back on something than to commit to a broken story.
