Reviewing the recordings, it became clear that the tired, confused little fox found in the lab hadn't always been one. It was such a gradual descent, over the course of many hours...she hadn't even been assigned to work with any transformative materials, which was likely why she'd been completely unprepared to work up a reversal serum. Not that doing so is particularly easy, and not that she hadn't tried...of course, synthesizing complex chemical substances on the fly is even more difficult when you're growing more and more delirious from the way your brain is altering to become more fox-like. Not to mention, the eventual loss of fingers, and increasing difficulty in standing upright. The poor girl really had no chance...they might be able to bring her back, but it could prove to be a challenge.
