The Most Hated 4-2-2-2 is back — and this one is disgusting.
Tested with Manchester United and PSG, this tactic produced elite results, ridiculous attacking numbers and major trophies across multiple saves.
The numbers are outrageous:
98% win rate 102 Premier League points with Manchester United Premier League winners Champions League winners PSG won Ligue 1, the French Cup and the Trophée des Champions 4.6 goals per game 22.6 shots per match 3.4 non-penalty xG per match Only 0.7 goals conceded per game
This is one of the most complete attacking tactics I have tested in FM26.
WHY IT IS CALLED THE MOST HATED
This tactic gives teams no time to breathe.
The two forwards constantly attack the defensive line, while the two attacking midfielders create overloads behind them.
That gives you:
Two striker chaos Two creative attacking threats Constant pressure Central overloads Fast attacks Strong midfield support Enough structure to stay defensively solid
It creates chance after chance without becoming a defensive mess.
That is why it hit 4.6 goals per game while conceding just 0.7.
