Koko3op - Singing Lesson W/Jake - Sir - The Recipe
infoAbout This Title
Time for my own Mujin Service - barely LOOL. If you lot don't engage with this i'm going to be SO upset :D
I'm so glad I finally managed to record a session of ours and I haven't had a singing lesson for over 2 years.
It's an extremely taxing process as you can see by the DAMPNESS on my t shirt! A lot of it comes from the mental fortitude of remembering so many technical things all at once but also breathing a lot.
The first 15/20 mins is basically just warming up and getting used to my breath support. First you take deep breaths and breathe out slowly then you do it with puffy cheeks and then you add vocalisation. After doing those 4/5 times each, we move to doing sirens with puffy cheeks to get the cords warmed up!
We then move to scales but I wasn't really feeling them like I have done in the past. We then get to SINGING!
It's crazy hearing how my voice is immediately freeer after the warm up. I WISH I could carry the clarity and richness from that first "I better fall back" throughout my ENTIRE range but that'll take loads of practice and time that I have fallen behind on.
In terms of my singing and skill i'm usually around 40% satisfied by my own standards. I know I could sound and BE so much better but you have to start from the basics and practice constantly until you're producing the sound you want with the right technique and POSTURE and some soul. That goddamn posture. Looking back I can see it even more so and will remember it next time.
Enjoy!
