This 4-inch-tall bone sculpture weighs half a pound. You can use an action to place it on a gravesite or a corpse where it magically remains until a creature uses an action to remove it or until 10 days have passed, at which point it topples over. While the sculpture remains there, the creature is under the effects of the gentle repose spell, and the sculpture slowly bleeds from its eyes, which pools below it in a tiny well at its base. Regardless of how long the sculpture bleeds in this way, the blood never spills over from the well.
Once the sculpture is removed from the target or topples over, the pooled blood vanishes, and the sculpture can't be used again until 5 days have passed.
Sleep now and be at peace, for I sit in vigil here upon thy resting place, that none disturb thy slumber. And should thee rise once more, be it with the dawn upon thy face, and the breath of life within thy lungs.
