This might be the single most elaborate and unnecessarily complicated As---ination plan of all time. Still, what a ride. I really love when this show isn't afraid to lean into non-alien baddies. These kids being robots was not only a fun reveal, but a sign of how far the series has come since the retirement community episode. That one felt more like a parody of Invasion of the Body Snatchers, while this manages to weave in similar ideas and themes while still feeling like it's own thing. Of course, it also helps that they're doing a send up to sports films at the same time. Which, honestly, is the kind of combo you only get from Ben 10.
