It's very easy to forget that becomign a pro guitarist isn't all about grinding your alternate picking to a metronome; it's just as important (if not more important) to also be working on making your playing actually sound good. This can be an incredibly hard thing to develop as there's no real hard-and-fast rules when it comes to this sort of stuff, as "what sounds good" is subjective after all. But in my opinion there are for sure 7 concrete, actionable things you can practice and implement into your playing to instantly sound WAY better.I honestly can't stress how important these things are! You could be an insane 300bpm shredder, but if your vibrato and bend quality suck then no one will give a shit.
