Tyroo - Stream commission PSD & Speedpaints part 5
About This Title
Thought some of you might appreciate the files for these to see how I made those images in ~4-5 hours each.
In the PSD files you'll be able to see that I used two multiply layers for each, one being for broader, softer shading, then another being additional hard shadows added to it. I figured that method would make things fast and easy.
To facilitate speed you can also see how I used Clip Studio's built-in model feature to made sure I got the angle down right without too much fiddling.
In the Speedpaints you'll also see me pull the heads off to the side during the refining sketch phase so I can just focus in on the face as it has a lot of important details.
In Cloudypaw's files you can also see me doing what I'll call a "value sketch." Since my goal in that piece was to use a more limited color palette, I wanted to make sure that the light vs dark areas read well and so blobbed out general areas in black/white/grey tones.
Hope you guys can take something good from these! If you have any questions please comment below to let me know.
