Five or ten years ago, an EV road trip meant charging wherever there was a working charger. Today, at many stops there's a choice of networks within sight of each other. So on the way home from the Bay Area this week, faced with a construction site at one stop, Nikki and Kate drove a mile down the road to somewhere with bathrooms, food and a better feel.
Price, reliability, Plug & Charge, amenities, politics, and simply feeling safe all play a part in where Nikki stops. So today we're asking: how do YOU choose where to stop and charge?
