It was just sitting there, alone on a wooden table in the yard behind the old man's house. The whole place was littered with similar junk, it almost looked like a scrapyard, and the estate auction was probably going to take a long time to get through. That's partly why she wandered off, just wanted to see more of what was lying around the place, to find out if it would even be worth sticking around.
But there it was: a weird little mouse figurine. On closer inspection, it didn't seem to be a toy nor intended for children, since for some reason it had visible breasts. An obscene knickknack... had the old guy been a perv? She picked it up... and immediately regretted it.
A green glow pulsated through the wooden mouse, electric and warm, and surged its way into her. She dropped it, recoiling... something was happening, something was churning inside of her...
It all happened faster than she had any time for it to register. A tail snaking from her backside, her clawed feet bursting from her boots, her ears rounding out and expanding into broad mouse ears. Her face pushed out into a snout, and she found herself on all fours, kneeling amidst her torn clothes and hyperventilating. She told herself over and over to stop freaking out, even as her panic rose... what the hell was going on here?!
