About This Title
Legion, you’re getting an exclusive first look at one of my upcoming Roman-history videos!
Did you know Roman legionaries didn’t always march into battle wearing perfectly matching, brand-new equipment?
Armor was repaired, helmets were reused, and some equipment could remain in service for years, potentially passing between generations of soldiers.
The Romans even had military workshops called fabricae, a word from the same Latin family that gave us “fabricate” and “factory.”
I’ve been having a great time putting these historical videos together, and I wanted to share this one with the Legion before it goes public.
Take a look, and let me know what you think!
And here’s a question: Would you rather receive brand-new equipment or battle-tested gear that had already served another legionary?
