About This Title
Jake has recently been working on the system for Emotes!
To support this, we're adding a radial wheel menu. You'll be able to assign emotes from the Craftbook (while in the Wardrobe) to a slot on the wheel, then use the wheel to select your emote during gameplay.
Emotes are a very cool way to express your Stuffy, but the feature is more of a fun detour than an essential task. Because of that, it's taken a while, and we hop on and off the task when other things need priority!
We're still in the process of adding more Emotes to the data list and improving the system to play the animations on Stuffies.
We're also stoked about the radial wheel UI, because it can likely be reused for other UX/UI stuff in the future! For example, exploring controller support in the Wardrobe could make good use of the popup wheel as a stand-in for the toolbar at the top of the screen (which was designed for a mouse).
