Footyshoe.com - FootyWeather & FootyTurf RELEASED!!!
infoAbout This Title
After months without an update, FootyWeather has had a proper rebuild under the hood. It was one of those plugins that already looked good, but quietly ate more FPS than it probably should have. So this update was all about keeping the atmosphere while making the engine behind it much smarter.
FootyWeather now reacts directly to the weather FM26 gives us. No fake forecast, no random snow in July because the plugin felt dramatic. If FM says Wet, Heavy Wet or Snow, FootyWeather takes over the visual side and turns it into something much more noticeable inside the 3D match.
Rain is denser and more natural, Heavy Wet finally feels like proper bad football weather, splashes are more refined, snow has been improved so it is visible on both broadcast and higher camera angles, and fog/haze still adds atmosphere without turning the stadium into Silent Hill.
The biggest changes are actually behind the scenes. FootyWeather now uses better culling, cleaner particle handling, smarter mesh updates and only starts its real weather renderer once Match Playback and the 3D match are actually ready.
So yes, after months of silence, FootyWeather came back with one simple goal:
More weather.Less FPS murder.
FootyWeather 3.0.7
Improved Wet weatherImproved Heavy Wet weatherImproved SnowBetter splash effectsBetter visibility across camera anglesFM26 weather detectionWeather locked correctly at match startStrict Match Playback detectionMajor performance optimizationsSmarter particle renderingReduced unnecessary GPU and CPU workNo visual quality downgrade required
The weather outside might be terrible.
At least now it looks good in Football Manager.FootyTurf
FootyTurf completely changes the way the pitch looks and reacts during a match in Football Manager 26. Instead of relying only on the standard FM26 surface, FootyTurf adds its own detailed turf system with custom pitch textures, enhanced surface detail, 3D grass effects, wear, pitch patterns and many visual controls that can be adjusted directly through the in-game FootyTurf editor.
Every home club can have its own unique pitch. You can select your preferred grass texture, adjust the appearance and structure of the grass, change surface details, patterns, colours, wear and many other properties. Once you are happy with the result, the complete setup can be saved as a club-specific .footyturf package and automatically loaded whenever that club plays at home.
FootyTurf also works together with Footy Weather, allowing the pitch itself to react to the weather conditions of the match. Normal and dry conditions can have a clean and firm playing surface, while drizzle, wet and heavy wet conditions can create darker areas, damp grass and visible water patches across different parts of the field.
Snow conditions go much further than simply adding snowfall to the stadium. When a match is played in snow, the turf itself can become covered with snow, with multiple snow-covered areas and different levels of surface coverage. Water and snow areas can be distributed across several locations on the pitch, giving every match a much more natural and less repetitive appearance.
The system has been designed so that the different weather states can each have their own complete turf profile. This means Dry, Wet, Heavy Wet, Snow and other conditions do not have to share the same visual setup. A club can effectively have several versions of the same pitch depending on the conditions on match day.
FootyTurf is also built around customization rather than fixed presets. Grass density and appearance, surface textures, detail maps, mowing patterns, pitch wear, goal-area wear, water, snow and many other effects can all be adjusted through the editor. The goal is to give every stadium and every match its own character while still keeping the system optimized enough to run alongside Footy Weather, FootySmoke and Footy Face Server.
FootyTurf will continue to grow with additional pitch effects, weather interaction, improved grass rendering and more control over how each individual stadium surface looks and behaves.Download the plugins in the Footy Center App and thanks for all the support! <3
