Novus's Fanfiction Works - Rylia's Next Summons!

Alright, folks! It's time for Rylia to get busy getting Help from the Omniversal Marketplace again! Which also means its time for you lot to get your chance to weigh in on who is going to appear next! A special note for this poll, don't worry that I'm mixing both Political and Administrator options. Whichever position doesn't get filled by the winner will end up as an additional poll down the line. Doing it this way lets people focus on not just who they want to see, but also which position they think is more immediately critical. There are legitimate arguments either way.

Now for the options!

Handmaiden Deluxe Package (Star Wars)(Group Discount!)(Political)

In a reality where Padmé Amidala's tastes ran to women instead of men, her Handmaidens became something far more intimate than mere body doubles. Sabé, Eirtaé, and Rabé became her lovers and advisors alongside their intended duties, accompanying her not just through her years as Queen, but into her life as a Senator.

Unfortunately, Anakin Skywalker turned out to be a Yandere, falling to the Dark Side when he discovered his 'beloved Padmé' was a lesbian. After repeated attempts to kill their mistress, Sabé, Eirtaé, and Rabé made a deal with the Omniversal Marketplace to 'get rid' of Anakin Skywalker. Do to the strength of his destiny, they paid a heavier price than usual to the Marketplace for his, having to agree to a lifetime commitment. All three of them have dealt in aspects of intergalactic politics for nearly a decade, with their combined expertise outstripping Padmé's.

Relationship Possibilities: Oddly, they've stipulated they actively wish to remain in a harem capacity, having grown used to the lifestyle. While they may or may not develop actual romantic feelings for their new Mistress, they certainly have them for each other.

Wonder Woman (DC Comics)(Partially Depowered)(Political)

This version of Wonder Woman spent decades serving as an Ambassador for her people, followed by being an Ambassador for Earth via the Justice League. Her experiences in 'man's world' slowly deprogrammed her from the Cult of the Amazons, as she came more and more to realize that pretty much the entire Olympian Pantheon are complete dicks. She actively sought out the Marketplace as a way to escape their oversight, by moving to a realty where they didn't exist. In doing so, she lost a significant chunk of her power, as it came from blessings she'd been granted. Still somewhat superhuman (Captain America levels) and highly intelligent, she remains an incredible asset with considerable political experience.

Relationship Possibilities: Open to new opportunities. Having grown up on the Island of Women, she's certain not shy about exploring the possibilities offered by Alien Space Babes. Whether that's Rylia or someone like Samara may be subject to another poll...

Emma Frost (Marvel Comics) (Fully Powered) (Political)

A version of Emma Frost who leveraged her wealth to become an ambassador for Mutant Kind, she did a far better job of it than Charles Xaiver by marketing them as profitable. Though a certain amount of her success might have been the number of politicians lusting after her chevage. Politically astute and extremely good at leveraging business connections for political power, as well as retaining potent telepathic abilities, she's a good fit for their platform. Particularly as she's no idealist and won't balk at all at the more ruthless parts of Rylia's plan.

Relationship Possibilities: Certainly intrigued by the idea of touch-telepathy enhanced sex and how it compares to hers, the only question is who she explores that with. Likely subject to another poll as there are some complications (like the fact that Emma has all the Dom energy, and I have no idea if people want to see scenes like that with Rylia).

Teressa Richter/Dragon (Worm)(Gynoid Version) (Administrator)

Best Girl of the Wormverse, given a new lease on life! This version of Dragon made a deal with the Omniversal Marketplace to make herself a real girl! While retaining her full capacity as an AI, she now inhabits a self-healing gynoid body effectively indistinguishable from human with the Mass Effect tech level. She does not retain her Shard power/connection, but is still incredibly capable, and no longer suffers the restrictions her creator put on her. To say that she's the multitasker is still probably not giving her enough credit.

Relationship Possibilities: She dumped that Armsmaster/Defiant guy years ago, after realizing he was a total dick. Whether or not that means she's ready for a new relationship or not, even she isn't certain. Though exploring her new body's full capabilities might well interest her...

Lando Calrissian (Star Wars)(Administrator)

This version of Lando decided Vader could get fucked. He'd gained a contact with a Omniversal Marketplace user during his Pre-Bespin days and cut a deal to make Vader's Super Star Destroyer have a little accident when it left his city. Little asthmatic emo bitch shouldn't have altered the deal. He only stuck around long enough to recover Han before triggering his period of service in another reality. Really, fleeing reality for a while after axing the Emperor's top thug seemed like a bonus, as far as he's concerned.

While he might be a gambler, his real talent has always been with people, making him an incredibly gifted administrator. In his case, rather than handling the load personally, he's very, very good at finding exactly the right people to fill exactly the right spots. He also has a fairly shrewd mind for space warfare, though he's not quite in the top percentages there. He could certainly teach a few things to a group looking to stomp slavers and pirates with a small fleet, though...

Relationship Possibilities: Likely not with Rylia, despite Lando himself possibly being interested. He might very well be matched with Susan or someone local, however. He is roguishly charming and has an eye for beautiful ladies...

Rouge (Marvel)(Variant)(Administrator)

This version of Rogue gained a power that allowed her to copy skills, instead of powers, with a touch. While this didn't make her as much of a front-line fighter, it quickly made her one of the best support and administration people on her Earth. Unfortunately, she still suffered the downside of draining her targets. At least, that is, until she got a chance to make a deal with the Omniversal Marketplace! Now her power has been tweaked so she can gain copies of skills without the nasty side effects, and she already has a massive library of management, administration, computing, languages, and hundreds of others skills. Often copied from people superhumanly good in their areas of expertise and practiced enough to make use of them.

Relationship Possibilities: Touch starved. Will absolutely be interested in the fact she can now touch people. Getting into a relationship with multiple people to cuddle with is enough of a bonus to disregard the unusual nature of it. Absolute cuddle monster. Will work for headpats!

There you are folks! A batch of options to puzzle over. Remember, whichever position doesn't win will pop up in another poll later, possibly with additional options. So I recommend picking what position you think is more important first, then your choice for that position ;-). Note that this poll won't run overly long, as I'm intending to have the summon happen in the second Stripper release of the month.

Currently, I've already finished the first Displaced Hero release and am working on the second Why Was There No Truck?!. After that, I'll still need to write the next Halfway Broken, as well as add a bit more to the Extra for the month (it's already like 13k, but I don't feel its been done justice yet). As soon as those things are taken care of, though, I'll need to start work on Stripper to keep ahead of things. The poll likely won't be open for more than a week, at most. So make sure to vote!
