About This Title

You suggest taking a route that potentially has more places to hide and take shelter in.

Emmett's legs tremble as he steps out of the elevator. Even for space, the station sounds too eerily quiet. You suggest investigating the lockers to see if there's anything useful.

"I-I don't like stealing..." Emmett says as he opens one of the lockers.

You tell him it's not stealing if they're not coming back for whatever is left in there. He nods begrudgingly as he digs through some clothes. You look at the door of the locker and it reads: 'Assigned to: Beatrice M.' Emmett picks up a single EVA space glove that is too small for either of your plushie hands. He tries another locker and finds more clothes, this time belonging to "Martin H." After some digging, he comes across a lanyard with an ID card that will definitely come in handy. The rest of the lockers don't open so you decide it's time to step through the decontamination chamber. The glass door slides shut behind you and Emmett readjusts to hold you better on his back.

"Decontamination in progress, please hold your arms out."

Large misters on each corner of the chamber spray a white fog. Vents on the floor circulate the air and you smell a distinct menthol flavor. Emmett steps out of the chamber into a slightly larger room that looks like a hub of sorts. In the center of the room, a circular desk sits empty with chairs knocked over. Emmett walks up and looks at screens that are flickering like the lights above. The station seems to be running on some sort of backup battery and who knows how long is left before the two of you are stranded in the dark.

"We s-should fix you up s-somehow," Emmett says as he readjusts you for the fourth time. You nod and apologize for the inconvenience. You observe your surroundings. The state of the space looks like people were in a scramble to get out; there are drinks left on tables with magazines thrown on the ground, pieces of paneling ripped off the walls as if there had been a fight, suspicious liquid and substances dripping out of vents. In all honesty, the safest spot feels like behind the counter of the desk where it's lit. Venturing forth into the darkness is risky and who knows what could be lurking in the shadows. You suggest crouching behind the counter and resting for a moment and Emmett agrees.

He sets your limp body on the floor and tries to fluff your stuffing to pad you out.

"T-There has to be something we can do t-to fix this," he mutters.

You look down at your body that refuses to listen. You imagine this is what Emmett felt when he was transformed into just a doll and it comforts you slightly. Even though you may not be able to move, you have someone who can hold you at the very least. You close your eyes and focus on a sensation that feels like you are drifting slightly above your body; your consciousness only experiencing a mere fraction of the physical world. You look at Emmett who holds up the spool of golden thread before you.

"I-I might be able to give you some of my stuffing and s-sew you up. I don't know i-if that will work but it'll b-be better than nothing!"

There is no guarantee that filling you with stuffing will create a link between body and mind so that you may move again. You think it would be easier to have Emmett remove the lower portion of you so that you will be easier to carry.

> Let Emmett try to sew you up. > Remove excess weight from your body.> Suggest searching for another body to stabilize you.
