About This Title
If you manage lots of shared MEGA folders, renewing links and collecting them individually can become repetitive work.
MEGA Link Manager automates those tasks through a simple desktop interface, helping you spend less time managing links.
What you can doRenew existing shared folder links.
Export a text listing of your folders and their current links.
Use the exported listing with Patreon Updater to replace outdated links in your Patreon posts.
Important: install and sign into MEGAcmd firstMEGA Link Manager requires MEGAcmd. You must install it and sign in through it at least once before using the app.
Signing into the MEGA website or the regular MEGA Desktop App alone is not enough. This tool relies on MEGAcmd’s own login session.
First-time setupInstall MEGAcmd using the download links in the official MEGAcmd.
Open MEGAcmd and enter:
login [email protected]
Follow the prompts for your password and two-factor authentication, if enabled. (Your password won’t appear as you type)
Wait for login and account loading to finish.
Open MEGA Link Manager.
DownloadDownload MEGA Link Manager v1.0Under Assets, download MEGA.Link.Manager.v1.0.zip, not the source-code archive.
Extract the entire folder, then run the .exe. Keep the included _internal folder alongside it. You don’t need to install Python.
Before renewing any linksRenewing a shared link invalidates the old one. Anywhere you previously shared it will need the replacement link.
Start with one folder so you understand the process before doing a larger batch. After renewing links, export a fresh listing as an txt file.
Sharing those links through Patreon Updater can help update your posts.
