About This Title
Weapon (Longbow), uncommon/rare/very rare, requires attunement
“I am merely the one who draws its string. Where the arrow falls, the desert forgets itself and remembers how to bloom.”
<><><><><><><><><><>
The Traveller's Bow is a recurve longbow of dark, bark-like wood inlaid with vivid green panels traced with white botanical scrollwork - vines and fronds too precise to be decorative. The linen-wrapped grip is worn from use. From the lower limb hangs a cluster of black feathers tipped in deep red, bound to a metal ring with no ceremony.
Arrows loosed from it leave a faint green trace in the air, and where they land on bare earth, something small and green pushes up within the hour. The bow was made by the Wolfrider seer herself and carries the magic of the hidden oasis. The bow evolves with its wielder. A more powerful version has all the properties of lesser versions in addition to its own.
