About This Title
Alfeil Linada and Ruairhi
The Red Raiders
The Linada family descends from an ancient lineage of demonologists who have hunted fiends since the Age of Chaos. Despite the Second Arcane Rewrite, they recovered much of their knowledge and adapted their sorcery to the new laws of arcana. Their expertise proved invaluable during the First Chaos Insurgency, but the Second nearly destroyed their lineage. Hunted by the Chaos-Touched, the family lost many of its members and centuries of accumulated knowledge.
Alfeil Linada, or Alfee, is the family's current heir and one of its few survivors. A few years ago, a cell of the Children of One attacked their ancestral manor and massacred his family. With his dying breath, Alfee's grandfather taught him a forbidden sorcery that released Ruairhi, a fiend bound to the Linada bloodline. Altered through ancient sorcery to hunt its own kind, Ruairhi had served generations of demonologists before falling dormant for lack of a compatible master. The fiend bonded with Alfee and saved his life.
Since then, Alfee has traveled across Aethsir, honing his sorcery and recovering family relics and manuscripts lost during the Second Chaos Insurgency. Now a silver-rank adventurer known as the Red Raider, he specializes in hunting fiends and investigating their influence. He also works closely with the Grand Library, helping decipher its collection of Linada manuscripts that they’ve recovered in exchange for assistance locating his family's lost possessions.
This would be a reversed version of Red Riding Hood~~ :D
