for reasons beyond my understanding, this one took an ABSURDLY long time to render. ("absurdly long" might be a bit dramatic, but it was like almost an entire day of nonstop rendering; god bless my PC for putting up with so much). that said, i wasn't going to skimp out on the quality - especially not when it was like 200 frames in before i clocked how long it was taking. i figure it probably needed the extra samples if it was taking so long.
technical bits aside, i like the results! It's definitely one of the less complex animations i've done, but for what it is, i think i did alright :]
the only real gripe i have is that despite my many adjustments and tweaks to the breast physics, they're still a bit too rigid for my liking (but on the other hand, anytime i tried to "loosen" the settings, it'd be the exact opposite problem). i still really need to wrap my head around how to get a more "weighty" feeling for them without them being comically bouncy (you'd think i'd figure that out after the first five thousand hours, but alas). doesn't help that every model tends to be affected by cage physics differently, so saved presets rarely work without a bunch of manual adjustmentsand of course, the next skit's being worked on as usual. putting in an unreasonable amount of effort into it, actually (more than the unreasonable amount i already put into them, which is saying a lot). since the scraps of proper animation in the skits tend to be my favorite parts to work on, i wanted to lean into that some more for this bit (even though, of course, the animation is being done with a hyper deformed model that isn't properly rigged for animation - so i'm just kind of winging it and hoping it turns out well lmao). despite that extra effort, it's actually not taking as long as i thought it would going into it.
that said, the skit's still got plenty of work left to do, so i'll be sure to keep you all updated as i make progress on it!
that's all I have at the moment - i'll be back in a couple days with my concept for the next animation. till then, hope you guys enjoy this! thanks as always for your outstanding support and lovely interactions :] have a good one
