About This Title
g'morning/afternoon. got this finished up overnight and, as far as i can tell, it seems to have turned out pretty well! the render time was pretty damn fast too, only like 50 seconds a frame, which feels unprecedented to me (though if i had to guess, is likely due to the scene itself being pretty simple and not very demanding). but yeah, overall, very pleased with the results of this! i'm really enjoying this new, more detail-oriented workflow - it's WAY more engaging than my previous way of doing things, and it actually feels like i'm making notable improvements with each project again rather than stagnating. not to jinx myself, but i think we may be entering a 𝓽𝓾𝓻𝓫𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓪𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮 ,':]
oddly enough, my viewport performance seems to be generally better across the board too. no clue why that would be, though. haven't restarted my PC in a while nor have i updated any drivers (and, let's be real, nvidia's drivers tend to break more than they fix nowadays) - so who knows, i won't question it either wayanywho, regarding other updates, i don't have much to share at the moment. however, i've already gotten work done on a concept for one of the upcoming animations (the sugar one, specifically - i still have to think up a concept for the ankha project (though i do have a couple ideas floating around)), which i should have ready for you guys within the next 2 days.
right now, i'm likely going to prioritize working on the comparatively shorter sugar animation so i can get that out by halloween (along with POSSBILY a shorter skit for it too if time allows).
in the meantime, hope you guys enjoy the animation! i'll be back either tomorrow or the next day with my concept for the sugar animation and any further updates. thanks as always for the support :] have a good one
