Secret Base - Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft had beef the whole time
About This Title
The older I get, the more I realize that carrying genuine hate in your heart for someone or something isn’t healthy. It takes up unnecessary mental space. Now, I still thoroughly enjoy being a hater, but like in a fun, non-harmful way. For example, as an Atlanta Falcons fan, I wish nothing but ill will on the New Orleans Saints every season, but I don’t want the entire fanbase to contract chickenpox or anything. Sorry, I’m getting off point, but Robert Kraft and Bill Belichick, at their VERY big age, have no problem hating each other.
For over two decades, Belichick and Kraft set the standard for success, building a dynasty as an excellent head coach-owner tandem. Arguably the best in NFL history. As they piled up winning seasons and Super Bowl rings, it seemed like a partnership that would end only in retirement. Except that ain’t how it went down. Through internal struggles, battles for control, and fiery disagreements over Tom Brady’s future with the team, the two split in an ugly divorce that was followed by an unforeseen amount of pettiness.
Side note. I can’t go without mentioning this fireeee monogrammed Giants sweater that Billy B rocked. Who knew the dude had some swag at one point?
