With any luck, maybe ghosts can't see other ghosts...
If you noticed slight changes in the first scene, consider yourself perceptive! I always felt like Miranda looked too... I don't know, young? Simple? Her face in this first panel (left) just never looked right to me, so I re-drew it Monday during Art Night (right).
A bit more cartoony, but I felt that would be a more appropriate reaction to waking abruptly!
I also shifted her eyes downward a bit in the second panel, as she's supposed to be looking around on the floor for Stromboli.
(I don't know what to attribute the slight color shifts to; maybe something changed within Photoshop in the last few years?)
I also felt like her physical reaction to the fiery ghost-cats was too STIFF and less protective (left), so I changed her body language to be more like she's pulling away (right) in the second page:
(She would've curled her whole body up, too, but boy oh boy I do NOT have time to re-draw & re-color every square of that quilt!!)
This is the kind of thing I would normally share with my $5/month Art Nerd tier, by the way, in case "how the sausage is made" posts interest you! That's also where I put my Figure Drawing posts (always marked NSFW in the subject line if they're nude).
Figured I'd share it here this time, because it would SUPER weird me out if I KNEW a panel had been changed, but the artist made no mention of it!
