About This Title
Here is finally one of the Disney princesses that many of you have been waiting for: Rapunzel.
This was one of those models that gave me a real challenge, especially because of the hair. So many meters of hair to manage in such a small Mini Flexi format! But after several adjustments, tests, and refinements, I’m really happy with the final result.
I think she ended up with a lovely look, very recognizable, and still simple enough to print nicely in FDM.
Rapunzel is ready!
The hair was, without a doubt, the biggest challenge in this model. It had to remain one of the main features of the character without making the Mini Flexi too complicated or fragile.
The long braid crosses the front of the body and continues around the skirt, giving the model that unmistakable Rapunzel look while keeping the proportions and simplicity of the Mini Flexi collection.
And after seeing a whole plate full of them printed, I have to say that all those meters of hair were worth it!
As usual, the model can be used as a keychain, backpack pendant, magnet, small articulated toy or decorative Mini Flexi.
Colors usedFor my prints I used 6 colors:
Bambu Lab PLA Lilac Purple
Bambu Lab PLA Sunflower Yellow
Bambu Lab PLA Black
Bambu Lab PLA White
Bambu Lab PLA Bambu Green
The combination of Lilac Purple and Sunflower Yellow works especially well here, with the green eyes adding that final touch of color to the face.
PrintingAs always, the model was designed with FDM printing in mind.
My usual settings are a good starting point:
0.14 mm layer height
Arachne wall generator
12% Gyroid infill
Check the included plates and choose the configuration that best suits your printer and multicolor setup.

The license covers physical printed models only. The digital files may not be sold, shared, redistributed or included in other digital collections.
