Cats3D Studio - Ghost Rider Mini Flexi #188
About This Title
Time to bring a little fire to the collection.
This time it’s Ghost Rider, and the part I really wanted to get right was obviously the flaming skull.
The flame effect took quite a bit of work. I wanted the fire to have real depth, with the yellow and orange creating that layered burning effect around the skull instead of simply looking like a flat outline. After several adjustments, I’m really happy with the final result.
I think it gives the whole model much more presence, especially when the light catches the different flame layers.
Now I’m very curious to see how this effect comes out on your printers. I hope your prints look as fiery as mine.
The rest of the model keeps the darker Ghost Rider look, with the silver chains crossing the chest and enough surface detail to give the outfit some texture without losing the Mini Flexi style.
Colors I usedFor the models shown in the photos I used:
Bambu Lab Black
Bambu Lab Bone White
Bambu Lab Orange
Bambu Lab Sunflower Yellow
Bambu Lab Silver
Orange and Sunflower Yellow create the two-tone flame effect.
PrintingThe flames are definitely the visual highlight of this model, so good color placement makes a big difference here.
There is quite a lot of detail around the skull, chains and clothing, but the model was designed with FDM printing in mind and tested as shown in the photos.
As always, I recommend checking your plate carefully before starting the print, especially if you are adapting the colors to a different AMS configuration.
Keychain versionThe attachment point is integrated into the flame area so the front of the character remains as clean as possible while still providing a practical and strong connection for the chain.
Physical sales licenseMembers who have a physical sales license may sell physical prints of my models while their membership is active.
So if you sell at fairs, markets, online or locally, Ghost Rider is ready to join your collection.
Access reminderPlease remember that membership gives access to the models currently included in your tier and does not automatically provide access to every model previously released by Cats3D Studio.
You can always check the Mini Flexi Hub to see the models and resources currently available.
Older models can also be found through my MakerWorld and Cults3D pages.
Digital product / refundsAll files are digital products made available immediately after publication.
Because access to the files is provided instantly, refunds are not available after the digital content has been delivered.
I hope you enjoy this one. The flaming skull was definitely the challenge of the model, but I think the final effect was worth the extra work.
Now I want to see a lot of little Ghost Riders on fire coming out of your printers.
Happy printing!
