Cats3D Studio - Arcanine Mini Flexi Pokémon #187
About This Title
Another Pokémon joins the Cats3D family, and this time I wanted to do something a little different.
Meet Arcanine, but not in the classic running, attacking or four-legged pose you would normally expect.
For this version I decided to give him a much more confident attitude, standing upright, arms crossed, looking like he already knows he is one of the coolest Pokémon in the room.
And I have to say, I really like how this one turned out.
The large mane, the tail, the black markings and that proud expression give the model a lot of personality, and even in this unusual pose he is still immediately recognizable as Arcanine.
It was also a fun challenge to adapt all that fur and volume to the Mini Flexi format while keeping the model printable, articulated and strong enough to handle normally.
Colors I usedFor the prints shown in the photos I used:
Bambu Lab Mandarin Orange
Bambu Lab Desert Tan
Bambu Lab Black
Bambu Lab White
Only 4 colors, so this one is also very friendly for standard AMS setups.
PrintingAs usual, the model is designed to print without supports.
The fur has quite a lot of detail, so I recommend keeping a good layer height if you want all those small shapes to show nicely.
The contrast between the Mandarin Orange and Desert Tan works particularly well here, especially around the mane and tail.
And yes, I printed a few. Once I saw them together on the plate, I knew this one was going to look great as a little army.
Physical sales licenseMembers who have a physical sales license may sell physical prints of my models while their membership is active.
So if you sell at fairs, markets, online stores or locally, Arcanine is ready to join your table.
Access reminderPlease remember that membership gives access to the models currently included in your tier and not automatically to every model ever released by Cats3D Studio.
You can always check the Mini Flexi Hub to see the models and resources currently available to you.
Older models can also be found through my MakerWorld and Cults3D pages.
Digital product / refundsAll files are digital products made available immediately after publication.
Because access to the files is provided instantly, refunds are not available after the digital content has been delivered.
I hope you enjoy this slightly unexpected version of Arcanine.
Sometimes changing the usual pose completely gives a character a whole new personality, and I think this one definitely proves it.
Now, who is ready to print their own little confident fire dog?
Happy printing!
