Jays Wintry Mix - Halloween first forecast
About This Title
Lets dig right in!
This weekend is easy so lets start with Halloween Weekend. Halloween this year is Saturday!
Precip this far out is really hard to predict but we will be at the END of a very dry pattern and from what I am seeing now...it will still be dry by the time we get to Halloween. I checked all the models and ensembles. The signal is very dry. However, the wetter pattern may start soon after that so we have to keep any eye on the timing because this far out---there could be room for timing errors of 1-2 days.
But from what I am seeing---it should be dry but again the ending of a very dry pattern
The green(above average precip isnt that far off to start November) so get ready for the El nino train after this 2 week reprieve.
it also looks super toasty for this time of year. We talked about a warm Halloween last week--still feel like it will be warm. So trick or treating looks pretty comfortable from what i see right now. These colors deceptive. They are not 80 or anything....they look like upper 60s/low 70s and upper 50s to low 60s at night. We will fine tune this as we get closer.
This Weekend
This weekend---Dry. No worries there. Driest looks ive seen for a weekend in a long time. No baseball or softball cancellations
But much cooler than Halloween weekend.
Ensembles have 30's still around Sunday Morning
this entire week will be below normal in terms of temps. This is exactly what we need a winter. A week to 10 days of below average temps and hope for a big storm.
The the precip pattern looks ridiculous lol. Not even a hint of rain anywhere in the east
If this was winter, we would be in tears because there is actually a offshore noreaster that is offshore enough to not bring any precip towards us
Quite times ahead. Sorry for not being too active this weekend. Had a softball tournament in Hagerstown where they had no rain issues at all and we got 5 games. Most of the other fields closed and some where even closed on Sunday. Part of it was some of the fields did not fully recover from the Hurricane rain remnants from last week. Let me know if you have any questions in the chat!
