animuL67 - Snowman Can Holder – Standard 12 oz
About This Title
Here's a Snowman Can Holder, designed for standard 12 oz cans.
I really like how this one turned out. It's a cute little snowman with a carrot nose, coal buttons, a scarf, and a simple expression that gives it plenty of character.
Printing & AssemblyThis design prints in multiple pieces and the only multicolor components are the eyes. You can also print them solid black, customize them, or even paint your own design. The eyes print flat, face down, and snap into place.
Everything snaps together — no glue or additional hardware required. Of course glue could be used if preferred.
The body is split into two pieces to allow the scarf to be printed separately as a single piece. There is a particular assembly sequence to follow:
Print the two body sections and the scarf.
Position the scarf between the body sections and snap the body together.
Rotate the head and body until everything is properly aligned.
Insert the top coal button. This button locks the head in position and prevents it from rotating. The scarf can rotate so it adds a bit of a fidget element to it.
Snap the remaining two buttons into place, along with the carrot nose and eyes.
It's a little more involved than some of my other can holders, but everything is designed to snap together without any additional fasteners or adhesives required.
Fuzzy Skin SettingsI've saved the main body and scarf with fuzzy skin already applied in the print profile. I think it looks especially nice on this model because it helps mimic the texture of snow and gives the snowman a little more character.
Fuzzy skin does increase print time, but I've painted it only onto the visible surfaces. That way, the printer isn't wasting time adding texture to areas that won't be seen once everything is assembled.
If you'd prefer a smooth finish or want to reduce print time, there are two easy ways to remove it in Bambu Studio and similar slicers:
Option 1 – Disable Fuzzy Skin Globally
Switch to Global settings.
Open the Others tab.
Find the Fuzzy Skin setting.
Change it from None (Allow Paint) to Disabled.
This will completely disable fuzzy skin, regardless of the painted areas.
Option 2 – Remove the Fuzzy Skin Painting
Select Fuzzy Skin Painting from the top toolbar.
Select the part.
Use Erase All Painting to remove the applied fuzzy skin areas.
Either method works. I just wanted to include the textured version by default because I think the finish is worth the additional print time on this particular model.
Included LidI'm including the Stealth Sipper Lid – Twist-Lock Version with this one.
This has become one of my more popular lid options, and for good reason. You can drink directly from the can without removing the lid, and the twist-lock design makes it easy to secure. It also does a pretty good job of concealing what you're drinking, so you can help everyone mind their own business!
Additional SizesThis first release is designed for standard 12 oz cans, but I've already got some additional sizes in mind:
Skinny 12 oz
375 mL
Standard 16 oz
Those versions are in the works, and I'm open to other sizes if there's enough interest.
Hopefully this will be a popular one for those of you printing and selling these.
As always, I look forward to seeing what color combinations and customizations everyone comes up with!
Happy printing!
