Wolf Mama Game Mechanics
The Wolf Mama is like an overseer to ensure you take care of the little ones. Every time you end the day she checks that you gave every child food and shelter. If you fail to do so you will incur her wrath with 1 rage point. If you reach 3 rage points its GAME OVER.
She will have more fleshed out cooperative mechanics as time goes on. I'd like to add cute animations of her picking up children. Also I have plans for her to be a cook so you can provide ingredients to stretch your food resources into large banquets to feed more children more efficiently.
Chicken Husbandry
I added roosters and baby chicks and breeding mechanics so that you can have small chicken farms in your home. Hens will now spawn eggs if they sleep overnight on hay bedding if they are within pathfinding distance of another rooster. Baby chicks will mature in 1 day to either a rooster or a hen.
It is incentivized to let baby chicks mature to fully grown roosters or hens because they only drop 1 chicken meat as opposed to a fully grown chicken that drops 2 chicken meats.
I'll eventually add some more details like making actual nests but this is great for now.
Chicken farms are autonomous and can be 'left alone' to produce LOTS of chickens. There are limits however as chickens will not make any more eggs if they are too cramped, so this requires you to keep an eye out for the chicken population.
Also I need to add wooden fence doors and also prevent wolf children from killing the chickens through the fence, that was unintentional.
